Had a few calls from concerned customers about phone calls from Amazon.
There is a scam reported on Amazon about these ‘callers’ try to get you a refund. This is a scam.
Some tips on spotting scammers:
- If you get a call from someone who asks to take control of your computer – hang up – It’s a Scam
- If you get asked to transfer money – Don’t – It’s a scam.
- If you get a suspect email pertaining to ‘have control’ / ‘Have video of you’ / ‘want bitcoins’ – Junk them – It’s a Scam.
If in ANY DOUBT about any call / email then talk to someone who knows what is what.
